Translation is the process of converting written text from one language to another. Interpretation involves converting spoken words in real-time. Both services are available as part of our Translation Services.

Certified translations include a signed statement, also called a certificate of accuracy, guaranteeing accuracy. Notarized translations add a notary seal and signature, which some institutions request.

Most institutions, including USCIS and universities, accept certified translations with a certificate of accuracy. Notarization is only needed if specifically required.

Yes. Our certified translations are prepared for common official uses in Sacramento and across California, including USCIS immigration filings, Sacramento court matters, schools, universities, government offices, and California agency submissions.

California Courts: For filings or exhibits, you may need to submit an English translation with a signed Translator’s Declaration under penalty of perjury stating the translator’s qualifications and that the translation is complete and accurate. Many courts accept a qualified translator, while some judges, clerks, or case types may request a California Certified/Registered Court Interpreter or an ATA-certified translator. We can prepare the proper certification format and upgrade credentials on request.

USCIS and most other institutions: A certificate of accuracy signed by the translator is usually sufficient. Some agencies may ask for notarization or specific wording, and we can add those if needed.

Notarization is usually needed for documents used inside the U.S., such as schools or agencies. Apostille is required for documents being sent abroad to countries in the Hague Apostille Convention. For example, a birth or marriage certificate for a foreign government usually requires an apostille after notarization.

Yes. We can notarize the translator’s Certificate of Accuracy upon request. Some agencies, schools, or consulates ask for this extra step. We’ll prepare the certificate, arrange notarization, and include the notarized page with your translation. A small fee applies, and please allow a little extra time, typically up to 1 business day.

• If you cancel before work has started, no fee is charged.
• If work is partially complete, you are responsible for the portion already translated.
• If the translation is complete, the full agreed fee is due.

We accept Zelle, PayPal, debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and cash when picking up documents in person. Simple payment instructions are always included with your invoice.
